The lab

Nothing hidden.

The rules, the code, both chains' halves and every shot of every test are public.

Rules

How a day runs.

  1. Fix two future blocksSolana's program picks a slot about ten seconds ahead. Robinhood Chain's contract picks a block. Nobody knows either hash yet.
  2. Draw the questionsEach hash becomes that chain's seed. Solana's sets the question for qubit A of every pair, Robinhood Chain's for qubit B.
  3. Lock in the jobThe circuit goes to IBM. Its job ID and fingerprint go on both chains before any result exists. One job a day: if it fails, the day is void.
  4. Run4,096 entangled pairs of qubits on an IBM Heron processor, each asked its two chains' questions.
  5. Record each halfEach chain records only its own qubit's answers. Alone, each half is about 50% ones: noise.
  6. Score both halvesEach chain then receives the other's half, derives both sides' questions and counts the wins. Without entanglement nothing beats 75%. A break needs the wins to clear 75% by 5 standard deviations.
Check it

Three ways to check.

01 · ONE CLICK

In your browser

"Check it yourself in one click" on the home page re-derives both chains' questions, matches every answer to each chain's half and recomputes the score on your machine.

02 · ONE COMMAND

With Python

A standalone checker, standard library only. Point it at a raw file or its URL.

python3 verify_bell.py <raw URL>
Download verify_bell.py
03 · YOUR OWN QUBITS

Rerun it on IBM

Rebuilds the same experiment with the same questions and runs it on your free IBM Quantum account. Your totals should land close to ours.

pip install qiskit qiskit-ibm-runtime
export IBM_QUANTUM_TOKEN=…
python3 rerun_bell.py <raw URL>
Download rerun_bell.py
Code

Two programs decide every result.

One on each chain. Every file's fingerprint is recomputed in your browser as you open it.
